Ekomobong Finbarr of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri has made a solar powered tricycle for his final year project.
In a Facebook post shared by his brother Aniekeme Finbarr, Ekomobong built this ubiquitous means of transportation that runs only on solar energy. ‘No engine, just battery and the solar system [sic] and can go 11km without blinking,’ he said.
Of course it doesn’t look like it’s fresh off the assembly line but remember this is only a school project. Imagine if he gets snapped up by General Motors like Jelani Aliyu who designed the hybrid car Chevrolet Volt…
