Following Donald Trump‘s declaration as the next President of the United States, large protests broke out across that country against the president-elect.
Many Americans have refused to acknowledge him as their leader, often chanting ‘Not my President’ and those protests have gone on for several days now. Also, many American have suffered xenophobic and racial abuse at the hands of white supremacists, with the Ku Klux Klan announcing a victory rally in honour of their chosen candidate.
The media has described all of the above as ‘anti-Trump protests’ but @jag_bros from Nigeria has an interesting theory: it should be called ‘post-election violence.’
Intanashuna Ezzposhor Intelleshuals will call it “Anti-Trump Protests” instead of calling it the real name: POST-ELECTION VIOLENCE
