Last week Monday, while you were working or eating or doing whatever it is one does on a Monday, Ashley Glawe was at the hospital.
Why, you ask? Well, because her pet ball python, Bart, had gotten stuck in her earlobe.
Yes, her slithery lil’ snake friend saw her gauged earlobe, probably thought ‘Oh, a hole! How fun!’ and climbed on through before stopping midway and just chilling out.
In a Facebook post, Glawe explained the precarious situation:
But we’re making a shout-out to her hashtags:

Glawe told CNN that she tried to use cooking oil to get the snake out.
After that didn’t work, the fire department tried to remove it, but they also had no luck.
Eventually, Glawe went to the emergency room where the hospital numbed her ear, added lube and used a string to enlarge her earlobe so the snake could be removed.
Glawe’s ear was irritated and bruised, but Bart the pet snake was completely fine.

At least they got the snake out.
