American singer Tamar Braxton is reportedly yet to confirm whether she will be performing at the first BET Experience Africa festival next month.
The festival, a staple feature in the US, will launch its first African edition at the Johannesburg TicketPro Dome.
But Braxton, who was among the first announced international acts, might not make it. She was recently released from hospital after being treated for blood clots in both her lungs.

Senior vice-president and managing director of Viacom International, Alex Okosi said Braxton would confirm her attendance later this week.
‘This is a great opportunity to showcase talent. The artists that we are bringing are legends.’
The full-day event will be the biggest urban lifestyle festival in Africa and will feature music, comedy, fashion, sport, dance and food.
Other international artists who will perform are Maxwell, Raphael Saadiq, Young Thug and US house vocalist Monique Bingham.
