Jaycee Chan, the son of movie star Jackie Chan, has been jailed for six months after pleading guilty to drugs charges.

Jaycee Chan was detained in August on suspicion of possessing cannabis and prosecutors in Beijing today, Monday, December 22, 2014 charged him with sheltering others to use drugs, an offence which could see him jailed for up to three years.

Jaycee Chan, 32, was detained last month on suspicion of possessing cannabis and official state media has now confirmed Beijing court prosecutors took the allegation further on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 and approved his arrest.
