Seyi and Tacha faced fake evictions from the Big Brother Naija: Pepper Dem House yesterday during the eviction show. They were not actually evicted though but they were moved to a newly introduced “secret room” where they will be spending a few days.
Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu had announced at the beginning of the eviction show that Big Brother was introducing a ‘secret room’. He later added that there was going to be 2 fake evictions from the house that day but the housemates to be evicted and the ones in the house had no idea that the eviction was fake.
When he finally started the evictions, he told Mike that he was safe and then went ahead to evict Seyi from the house. The housemates were very shocked at the news and a lot of them almost broke down, immediately rallying around Seyi and hugging him as he exited the house.
A few moments later, Ebuka announced that Tacha had been ‘evicted’ from the house and the housemates were shocked once again. Tacha refused hugs from the girls that followed her into the room. It was almost as if she didn’t believe that she was really being evicted.
Seyi and Tacha were then led to the secret room where they were told that they had not yet been evicted. They learned from a missive that had been delivered by a house ninja that they would be staying in the secret room for a few days before they returned to the main house. They were told that all the reasons they had been brought to the secret room were not good but that they were expected to comport themselves like normal housemates.
