The Super Eagles have had their wings clipped in Asia
A first half goal from Captain Hatem Aqel was just about enough for Jordan to defeat the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a friendly match played on Monday, October 28, 2013 in the country’s capital Amman.
Jordan took the lead in the 42nd minute with a penalty strike from Aqel after Kano Pillars’ Rabiu Ali pushed down Yousef Rawashdeh in the goal area.
The Eagles’ next match is a World Cup qualifying game against Ethiopia in Calabar on November 16, 2013.
