The April edition of Str8 up Hip hop is aimed at celebrating the brilliance and beauty hip hop divas have brought to the game.
The event which is a Now Muzik En.Core production will hold at The Place, Isaac John Street, GRA, Ikeja on Thursday April 25, 2013.
Themed Ladies First, it will recognize the contribution of the female rapper, Weird MC who was the first Nigerian artiste to release a video-single; ‘First Lady’ of Nigerian hip hop, Sasha P who was the first ever Nigerian female artist to perform at the 20th anniversary of the World Music Awards in October 2008 and the late DJ Lokshai, the first ever Nigerian female DJ.
Spoken word artiste and entrepreneur, Toni Payne, will host the ladies and other hip hop enthusiasts at the venue, The Place, Isaac John Street, GRA, Ikeja on Thursday April 25, 2013.
Guests will also enjoy performances from Dolapo, Splash, Butafly and DJ Lambo.
