Read tributes in honour of the late entertainment entrepreneur from Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, 2face idibia, Joke Jaiyesinmi, Funsho Arogundade and many more
2face Idibia: I still can’t bring myself to believe it. Life is truly too short. RIP Chris. There are no answers.
Joke Jaiyesimi: ‘Muyiwa’s (Nomoreloss) death was the most painful thing I felt in a long time. I cried for weeks but I didn’t say anything on social media. I really don’t like talking on social media when people die like that. Now Chris and I just got transported back to when we met and how we related. He still asked me to call me last month and I didn’t answer. Old wounds.’
Bankulli Seun: ‘Condolence to the JEYIBO family … Rest in peace Mr Chris a friend a brother …you always receive people with open hands Ceo Koga Entertainment..May your gentle soul rest in peace in jesus name’
Elsie Oluku (Ariya Tickets): Christopher Is an extremely demanding person to work with but also very trusting and encouraging. With Chris there is no word as ‘it can’t be done’ he believes that there must be a way. Christopher and I had our differences but unlike most people we also are one of kind in some ways – We don’t believe in holding grudge – Chris is my partner, brother from another mother and my friend. Yes my friend. (Am sticking to present tense because Chris is alive in movies he had made directly or indirectly and the projects he has executed, memories of his encounter with me and several others but most important of all is in his legacy to his children ) I will miss your boisterous and sometimes almost annoying tease. Till we meet again. Rest in peace my brother my friend and partner.
Freeze (Cool FM): ‘Dear Range Rover Doctor, you said that #LandRover produces some of the safest cars in the world, so how come this accident that occurred around Magodo, Lagos, involving the new generation #RangeRoverSport, claimed the driver’s life? Also what can be done to increase the chances of survival in situations like these? R.I.P Chris Jeyibo, CEO Koga entertainment.’
