Calabar and Abakaliki have got a share of the excitement of 2015 Star Music Trek and today, Nigeria’s largest annual music festival sponsored by Star Lager make its next stop at the bustling city of Awka, Anambra State.
The concert, tagged #AwkaRocks will feature blockbuster performances from 2face, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Mr Raw, Naeto C, Do2dtun, DJ Switch, and DJ Snoop Da Damaja at De Geogold Hotels, Awka Today, May 16, 2015 from 7pm.
The nationwide concert tour which has thrilled Nigerian music fans for nearly two decades, has a tradition of bringing the country’s biggest artists together to thrill fans around the country and this year’s theme: #My Superstar Story aims to inspire the youth to view their situations as a work in progress and to always keep their goals in mind.
Following Awka, the 2015 Star Music Trek will make the following stops: Markurdi on August 1, Sapele on August 8, Auchi on August 15, Ibadan on August 22 and Lagos on Aug 29.
