The late Iyetade Verity Soyinka, daughter of Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka will be buried on January 10, 2014, the family has announced.
Miss Soyinka, who passed away on December 28, 2013 at the University Teaching Hospital, Ibadan, after a brief illness, was 48 years old.
The burial on January 10 will be preceded by a funeral service at the Chapel of Resurrection, University of Ibadan at 11a.m. The family plans to hold a ‘short service of songs’ at 5PM. on Thursday, January 9, 2014.
Meanwhile, a memorial website has been set up in honour of Iyetade. Family and friends can view her photos, read her biography and add comments of theirs.
