South African DJ, Black Coffee wins big at International DJ Awards

OK there’s a second one!!!!!!!This one’s for South Africa voted “Dance Nation of the Year”…How Amazing is it that with our Turbulent Past this is where we are today….#wedancechallenge proves this……We deserve to give ourselves a pat on the back for this one….I believe the more we Dance together we will become better….I’m so Honoured right now and so proud to be South African!!!!!!! #bestplaceintheworld #Blessed @southafrica

Just when South Africans are celebrating the glory of comedian Trevor Noah after making his debut as the host of The Daily Show, another man is also putting the country on the map.

DJ Black Coffee who was in Ibiza for the International DJ Awards walked away with two of the prizes.

The South African DJ won ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ and another for SA as ‘Dance Nation of the Year.’

Other nominees included David Guetta, Carl Cox, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Steve Aoki and Avicii.
