Sorry ladies! Olanrewaju Fasasi, the artiste popularly known as Sound Sultan is finally off the list of eligible bachelors.
The talented singer has avoided discussing the issue of marriage for as long as we can remember, and only recently started stepping out with a regular date.
When we confronted him last year, he promised ‘‘I’ll get married in 2009, trust me’’.
And it looks like he’s keeping his word. On October 1 in Lagos, impeccable sources told us the Satellite-Town-based act gathered close friends and colleagues to accompany him to his traditional wedding to his fiancée Farida (a.k.a. ChiChi) in Ajangbadi-Afromedia.
Afromedia is a satellite town on the outskirts of Lagos, off the Lagos-Badagry expressway.
Those present at the very private engagement include his elder brother Babe Dee, stand-up acts Princess and Koffi, writer Bayo Omisore and Singer W4.
Sultan’s pregnant bride, Farida, is believed to have had a change of name, as those close to her told NET her real name was ChiChi before she switched to Farida. We could not confirm if she changed her name and religion prior to marrying Sultan, a devout Moslem.
A picture of Sultan obtained by NET via social networking site Twitter, showed him wearing a two-piece green Lace attire, with a green cap to match. He wore a pair of dark shades and smiled profusely as guests arrived and congratulated him.

He has to, dont you know that there are no motorable road in that aspect of Lagos state. What a car can do, Okada can do better for SOund Sultan.
I hope he will not follow one way so that LASTMA will not find him come where he dey do the traditional ceremony.
