
He was kept overnight in Zone 2 Zonal Command Onikan, Lagos – the same station Wizkid was summoned to three years ago following allegations from a students’ organisation.

In June 2013, Wizkid was in the news for allegedly swindling students of University of Lagos and failing to show up for their gig. The issue was however resolved when it was found out that the students were swindled by an imposter.

However, that realisation did not occur until Wizkid and his manager were questioned on June 19, 2013, at Zone 2 Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Onikan, Lagos.
He did not spend the night there.
Skales, who is working his way out of a messy situation with his label Baseline Records, has been off social media since yesterday. His friends (including his girlfriend) insist he was not in custody. But insiders have told us he was at the station all night.

No word yet from he and his minders even as Baseline alleged he and Osarenkhoe have confessed to the alleged fraud.

Wizkid has of course been a guest of the police on several other occasions; including recently during his public quarrels with Linda Ikeji which ended rather interestingly, with a picture of him and a Lagos police boss.
