South African afro pop act, Kelly Khumalo has been accused of allegedly assaulting her rumoured celebrity boyfriend, Zamokwakhe Bhaka Nzama.
The alleged fight between the two celebrities was said to have taken place at a hotel room in Durban where the singer was getting ready for the Metro FM awards on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
According to Drum magazine, the two were involved in an argument which led to the fight despite the news making rounds that they have become an item after been spotted together on several occasions in Johannesburg and in Kwa Zulu-Natal recently.
Speaking with Sunday Sun about the incident, Nzama who didn’t reveal what led to the fight, simply said the singer poked his eyes using her nail which has kept him on medical care at home since the incident.
‘Kelly poked my eye using her nail, I have seen a doctor and although at the moment I cannot open my eye I am currently at home recovering.’
Although it has also been reported that Nzama has no plans to open a case of assault against Khumalo, he is not sure about their relationship anymore.
