Each episode of Africa Magic’s Shoot Your Shot is always filled with belly laughs and memorable moments courtesy of the host Bisola Aiyeola and the dynamic guests that come on the show.
In the most recent episode, we met Kenechukwu Ufele, an upcoming artiste and producer who reached out to the Shoot Your Shot team to help set him up with his crush of six months because he finds it hard to express his feelings to someone he really likes.
Kenechukwu had met his crush, Abang, at the NYSC camp and their friendship didn’t quite kick-off on the right foot- she was with a couple of friends and he poked fun at her. This didn’t sit well with her and she wasted no time in telling him as much. However, she eventually ‘loosened up’ with him and became friends as they both had a very undeniable vibe He hasn’t been in a relationship in the past two years and now he is ready to love. He was hoping that this would be the perfect opportunity to finally express his feelings for Enare.
Abang Enare is a 24-year-old Human Resource specialist who writes for fun. Enare revealed that she has not been in a relationship with a Nigerian man as she spent most of her life in francophone countries. She was looking forward to meeting her admirer because she was surprised the person went the extra mile for a date with her. Then came the moment they were both waiting for.
Enare and Kcee were so excited to see each other and it was clear the feeling was mutual. Enare said she was equal parts shocked and impressed that it was Kcee. She hadn’t seen him wearing anything other than the NYSC uniform before now and pretty much considered him an uptight person.
When the time came for Kcee to pop the question, he told her all the reasons he wanted to be with her. Unfortunately for Kcee, Enare rejected his proposal. She told him that she liked someone else now and wished he asked her sooner.
Unlike other episodes, even though this ended with a no, there were still smiles and good vibes as Kcee remained optimistic.
