In June 2012, Seun Kuti told us he wasn’t in any relationship but it seems all that has changed.
The youngest son of the late great Fela Kuti is expecting a child with one of his dancers and love interest Yetunde George Ademiluyi.
Yetunde is reported to be the grand daughter of the Lagos monarch Oba of Egbeda Land, Samseen Alade Balogun‘s second wife, Oloori Patricia. She has been one of Seun’s Egypt 80 music band for close to five years.
Yetunde and her friends held a baby shower for her three weeks ago at Seun’s residence in Ikeja, Lagos. ‘She’s due pretty soon, we all can’t wait’, a friend of Yetunde tells NET.
Seun also told us last year that he would love to marry Oprah or the Queen; saying ‘I want to marry Oprah or The Queen of England, ladies with big bucks and then I can divorce her in two years with half of her money coming to me… I want a woman who will buy me stuffs like Ferrari, Condo and the great things that would make all the nagging and stress of the marriage worth enduring.’
His eldest brother Femi Kuti who has once been married insists he doesn’t believe in marriage.
