World’s No.1 female Tennis star, Serena Williams has claimed her eighth Miami Open title.
The American professional needed but just 56 minutes to demolish Spain and World’s No.12 Tennis player, Carla Suarez Navarro in a 6 – 2 6 – 0 clash in the final tournament game, which took place today, April 4, 2015.
Speaking after receiving her Butch Buchholz Trophy by Martina Navratilova, she dedicated the award to her father saying, ‘I would like to dedicate this to my dad, he’s not here. I miss him, I hope he’s watching. I love you daddy and this one’s for you.’
Serena has now won 12 consecutive finals in various tournament games.
