Kim Kardashian reportedly refused to let attendees take photographs during her book launch event at Barnes and Noble in New York City on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 despite the book, Selfish containing close to a decade’s worth of selfies taken by the brunette beauty spread out over 400 pages.
According to Yahoo! the ban was enforced to ensure the lines of fans waiting to have their book signed kept moving after eager customers camped over night outside the store on Fifth Avenue to be the first to get their hands on the publication and for the chance to meet the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star.
While the venue, Vogue and its US editor, Anna Wintour had also enforced their own selfie ban at the event, it seems Kim wasn’t interested in sticking to the rules and updated her Instagram account with snaps from the star-studded bash throughout the night.
