A Pittsburgh-based make-up artist, Norman Freeman has set out on a tour to put a smile on the faces of cancer patients.
Freeman, who has alopecia, a condition that causes the partial or total absence of hair from areas of the body where it normally grows, hopes to reach as many patients in the U.S. as possible with the initiative.
In his words on the GoFundMePage he created for the project, ‘I want to travel to different hospitals in different cities to do cancer patients makeup for FREE! Out of the kindness of my heart just to make [their] hearts SMILE! I’m dedicating my time and talent to boost the confidence of patients who [have] lost [their] hair or just suffering at all! I’m asking for donations just to support me traveling and staying in various places to make it happen! I have to do this, seeing people happy with themselves makes my heart smile!’
