September is around the corner and we’re sure that just like you, we are also anticipating that first The Wedding Party 2 trailer.
While Mo Abudu has not blessed us with a trailer quite yet, let’s calm our nerves with all we know about TWP 2.
1. Chigul received a wedding invitation
Many familiar faces will added to the already star-studded cast of TWP2. Apart from comedienne, Chigul, we should also expect to see WofaiFada, Elenu, Emmanuel Ikubese, Seyi Law, Dakore Akande, Omoni Oboli and Chiwetalu Agu.
2. Goodbye Adetiba. Hello Akinmolayan
That’s right. The lady who directed the first film won’t be returning for the sequel. Rather, Niyi Akinmolayan, director of The Arbitration, will be taking over from Adetiba.
We pray that he adds even more sparkle to what Adetiba started.
3. Part Two in two weeks
The makers of The Wedding Party 2 didn’t waste time shooting the sequel at all. The second installment of the romantic comedy is said to have only taken two weeks to shoot.
4. Patience Ozokwor is joining the party!
We cannot wait to see the onscreen chemistry between the Nollywood veteran Ozokwor and Sola Sobowale, another Nollywood veteran.
5. They are taking the Party abroad
