Nollywood actor and producer, Sunkanmi Omobolanle, who is the son of veteran Yoruba comic actor, Sunday Omobolanle aka Aluwe, is currently on set filming his new movie, The knot.
The forthcoming movie, which is being shot on location in Lagos by seasoned cinematographer, Akin Alabi, parades stars like Saidi Balogun, Bimbo Akintola, Gabriel Afolayan, Hafiz Oyetoro aka Saka, Ayo Adesanya, Niyi Johnson among others.
‘The Knot’ tells the story of inseparable childhood friends, whom fate subsequently pitched at opposite ends against each other at adulthood.
The movie, which also features Sunkanmi’s dad, is his third as a producer. His first self-produced movie is Jeje (2006).
