Renowned soul singer Sade Adu may be releasing a new album anytime from now. This is according to a member of her band, Stuart Matthewman, who told Rated R&B in an interview that the band are currently working towards the release of a new body of work.
According to Matthewman, Sade Adu and company have already written “a bunch of songs” for the follow-up to the last album, Soldier of Love, which came out in 2010.
Eight years after, the 59-year old singer may be dropping her seventh studio album in her career that has spanned over 3 decades.
The British-Nigerian singer recently released her first song in seven years, titled, Flower of the Universe, which featured as a soundtrack for Ava DuVernay’s remake of A Wrinkle in Time.
