Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman is set to have another go at the fashion world having revealed plans to relaunch his clothing line, September 20th Wears.
The clothing line, which the rapper first launched back in 2005 but did not achieve much viability then due mainly to the lack of online stores, is now ready to hit the market big time.
The Abia State-born star in an exclusive chat with NET, Ruggedman said: ‘I don’t know if to reveal this yet, Jumia.com would be official distributor for the clothing line once we relaunch, we’ve been in talk for over 5 months and we are very close to the last leg of the deal now.’
He went further to explain that the lack of online stores and proper distribution channels stalled the growth of the line when it was first launched in 2005 with casual wears like Varsity Jackets, Face Caps, T-shirts, Hoodies and others included among the new products.
Celebrities like Monalisa Chinda, Joseph Benjamin, Reminisce , TuFace and Daniel Amokachi and others have been seen rocking the designer wears to different events in recent times.
