In P-Square, the Nigerian music industry witnessed one of the most tragic breakdowns of brotherhood with the incessant face-offs the once inseparable brothers still continue to engage in.
As the division amongst the Okoye brothers further deepens, all parties are counting on their individual strengths and ability to stay afloat in the competitive music industry.
Paul Okoye‘s ace card appears to be in his investment in two new talents, Muno and Lucy who are both signed to his Rudeboy Records imprint.

While the two acts are gradually working their ways up in the entertainment circle, it is the latter, Lucy who catches our attention as she is being paraded – by Paul, herself and media – as somewhat of a Rihanna clone.

Having already released two singles, ‘Turn it Up’ and ‘Special Driver’ which was written by Paul and featuring Cynthia Morgan, Lucy is appearing to base her strength – or strategy – on being close to a Riri lookalike with raunchy and racy imagery to boot.
‘When u all are as confused as me. pls can someone tell me who this person is? The rudegirl or the badgirl,’ Paul wrote along with a picture of the singer few weeks ago.

While Lucy possesses an impressive vocal ability range of mezzo-soprano with her sounds majorly bordering on dancehall, a ‘bad girl’ persona so early in her career might pose more of a threat than a plus.
However, the ever widening entertainment sphere has proven anything is possible and there is room for ‘copycats’.
Lucy is evidently unapologetic for the daring imagery she exudes and whether that will propel her to great heights in the overly hostile music industry… only time will reveal.
