Cristiano Ronaldo’s world famous freekicks pack a mean punch.
A little boy Charlie Sherwood, 11, can testify to that. During Real Madrid’s friendly with Bournemouth, Real Madrid star Ronaldo took a freekick which went way off target and hit Charlie Sherwood’s wrist who was in the stands with his father.
Despite the pain, little Charlie watched the rest of the match which ended 6-0 in favour of Real Madrid.
After the match Charlie was taken to the hospital where he was operated on. He suffered a double wrist fracture. His pain didn’t go unnoticed by CR7 who gave Charlie an autographed Real Madrid jersey.
