American singer Robin Thicke and former wife Paula Patton are engaged in a bitter custody battle over their 6-year-old son and now, the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services is involved.
TMZ reports that on Thursday, Paula filed an emergency hearing requesting that Robin’s access to their son Julian be restricted and that daytime visits be monitored because of Robin’s ‘excessive spanking.’
Legal documents obtained by shows that Julian told his mom and grandmother about Robin spanking him ‘really hard’ before reporting it to his school in Malibu.

According to one school official who submitted a declaration, Julian reported that his dad also ‘punches’ him very hard. DCFS opened an investigation after the school filed a report on January 3.
Wawu!!
This has really got us thinking – maybe it’s high time Robin moves to Africa, where you don’t get investigated for ‘spanking’ your own child.
Although in response, Robin submitted a statement claiming that ‘light spanking’ is only used ‘on a very rare occasion and only as a last resort.’
