According to confirmed reports reaching Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET), the iconic actor turned politician, Richard Mofe–Damijo will be returning to his first love, starring in popular soap opera, Tinsel which airs 8PM every Wednesday on MNET, a channel on the DSTV Cable Network.
Currently holding the seat of the Commissioner for Commerce & Tourism in Delta State, the celebrated actor-politician, RMD really needs no introduction into the world of soaps. He sure killed it as Segun Kadiri in the ‘90s soap ‘Checkmate’ and of course gave a massive performance in ‘Ripples’ and ‘Spacs’, then without doubts, most of us have a glimpse of what to look-out for.
The 30 minutes soap recently auditioned for new acts on March 25–26, 2011 in Lagos at these following locations; SS Lounge (Victoria Island), Freedom Park (Lagos Island), Protea Leadway (Maryland) and in FCT Abuja at the Protea Hotel (Asokoro).
