The actress joins a long list of actors supporting Goodluck and in the short video titled ‘I will Vote Again,’ Rita outlines some of the reasons why she will vote for the re-election of the President.
According to the actress, she will vote for him because: ‘For the first time in 54 years, a woman was appointed minister of petroleum. This same woman has distinguished herself by becoming the first female president of OPEC. GEJ has promoted freedom of speech. This makes public records available to everyone.
‘GEJ not only realised the importance of diversifying the economy, but has acted on it by supporting the entertainment industry with loans and grants.’
The short video, directed by seasoned Nollywood filmmaker, Mildred Okwo, who collaborated with the actress and producer on the acclaimed movie, The Meeting, is available for viewing on YouTube.
