
A rising media personality and comedian, Franklin Ugo Matthews has died, reportedly after a brief illness.
Ugo, who up until his death was an anchor of Bobos Yarn and Gudu Morning Naija show on Wazobia TV, reportedly sustained an injury on his leg which was later operated on. He became ill afterwards.

Sources confirmed to Thenetng that he died yesterday, October 17.
Three months ago, he celebrated his mom on her birthday with an Instagram post.
Ugo becomes the second rising comedian to die in three weeks, following the death of Chibike Gabriel Nwachukwu, known as Chi’Byke, on September 23, 2016.
