The 2-0 loss of Nigeria’s Dream Team VI to Germany in their semi-final match got the emotions of Nigerians going.
While some are blaming manager Samson Siasia for his choice of players for the game, others attacked attacker Sadiq Umar for a sluggish performance in front of goal.
But before all that, the reactions invoked were nice and simple.

Followed by somewhat sober reflections and Mikel commendations.
After all under-par preparation & flummeries, Nigerians blame the lads for the loss. Time 2 learn to prepare greatly. #NGRGER@nigeriainfoph

Then, inevitably, Premier League club Arsenal got dragged into a match they didn’t even play. You might want to look away now, Arsenal fans.

Few had not so nicely laced shots at misfiring Nigerian attacker, Sadiq Umar …
Plain advice to Sadiq Umar, “Go back to the farm and continue making tomatoes for the country” #NGRGER

The player I’m most impressed with is Sadiq Umar, performance dipped as tournament went on but the talent is there. Northern version of Kanu

Sadiq Umar. Remember we won’t forget this selfishness of yours. The story shall be told from generations to generations. You can ask Yakubu

Remember the fella – Oghenekaro Etebo – who scored four goals in our first match? We could’ve avoided all the wailing if he was available and in that form against the Germans.
That Ezekiel guy didn’t turn up today! We miss etebo. In all I really think we should form our super eagles spine from this team.

Really missed etebo at the striking role….did not even know how sadiq got into the squad, am sure he skipped screening sef…..

Not!
Anyway, host nation Brazil will play Germany in the final on Saturday, August 20 at Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro. Last time both nations met in a competitive match, Brazil endured a 7-1 humiliation in a 2014 FIFA World Cup semi-final.
Imagine if that happened again on Saturday.
