Eric Arubayi came into limelight as a contestant on the 2007 edition of West African Idols. Although he came fourth after Temitayo George, Omawumi and eventual winner Timi Dakolo, he was well loved by fans. His rendition of Boys II Men‘s I’ll Make Love To You was one of the highlights of the competition.
