Reese Witherspoon says she hasn’t ruled out a career in politics and thinks ‘women are natural-born problem solvers.’
The actress says she wants to fight for gender equality and might consider running for government in the future.
Asked if she has ever thought about entering the political field, the Oscar winner said: ‘I haven’t yet, but I still have a lot of life to live, so I can’t rule it out. I do believe that if you want to see change in the world, you have to be responsible for it. As women, we need to put our heart in the ring in government.’
‘Women represent 51 percent of the population, but only 19.4 percent in Congress in the US, that’s the reason we have gender inequality. That’s the reason women healthcare isn’t a major priority nationwide. Women are natural-born problem solvers.’
