A gang of over six men has reportedly burgled the factory of Red Bull’s Formula 1 team in southern England today, Saturday, December 6, 2014.
According to reports, the burglars, believed to have worn dark clothing, drove two vehicles to the building and smashed the glass entrance of the factory in Milton Keynes with a silver 4×4 Jeep and made away with 60 trophies without harming the members of staff on duty.
Red Bull principal, Christian Horner, has confirmed the robbery incident, saying the team is devastated over the raid on the trophy room.
‘We are obviously devastated by this serious factory break in, which saw offenders drive a vehicle through our front entrance and steal more than 60 trophies which took years and hard work to accumulate.’
Reports indicate security arrangements at the factory, as expected, would be reviewed and further investigations conducted regarding the incident.
