R&B female singer, Ray C whose music is a mixture of Bongo flava, has thrown her weight behind the decision of government to ban twerking in Tanzania.
Recently, after the Tanzanian government ban the provocative dance move because ‘it undermines the country’s culture by impacting negative morals in the new generation,’ Ray C has spoke on the matter, stating her support for government in the matter.
Speaking on the ban of the provocative dance move, the ‘Wanifautia Nini’ singer was on quoted on Nairobi Wire as saying: ‘We must censor what we do otherwise we will be bringing up an immoral generation, some of the things we do on TV are totally wrong, but since we are role models, the young people watching us at home think that it is okay since we endorse them.’
