Sources have reliably informed us that the two-time Project Fame West Africa co-host Joseph Benjamin was last week involved in a ghastly auto crash that left his car totally condemned.
Benjamin’s car was reportedly crushed as a truck reversed into him at the traffic point around Civic Centre in Victoria Island. The ‘Tinsel’ actor was unhurt in the happenstance but his car was badly damaged and is now a write-off.
‘He’s hale and good. I’ve spoken to him’, a close friend to the Kogi State born presenter tells NET.
Repeated effort to reach Mr. Benjamin on his mobile line was unsuccessful as at press time, as his phone rang multiple times to no answer. It was later switched off.
Joseph made his first appearance in the entertainment scene in 1995 with his role in ‘Tales by Moonlight’ and later ‘Crossroads’ – the productions which ushered him into Nollywood before he branched into TV presentation, where he gained more prominence and respect for his art.
