The theme of this year’s Felabration according to a release on its Facebook page, is ‘Just Like That’. The event will be held between October 12th and October 18th 2015.
According to the event website, Felabration will parade an array of top Nigerian acts which include Davido, Wizkid, Femi Kuti and many others.
Felabration was conceived in 1998 by Fela’s eldest child, Yeni Kuti. The event is held during Fela’s birth week with week-long activities. These include a symposium on topical issues, street parades, photo exhibitions and musical performances at the New Afrika Shrine.
