Over a week after Police handed a permit for the #DumsorMustStop peaceful protest aimed at calling on the present government to find solution to the lack of stable electricity in Ghana, reports say the protest has now been put on hold.
The protest, which was masterminded by Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson and rapper, Sarkodie was said to have been put on hold by Ghana Police after meeting with lawyers of Yvonne Nelson and Sarkodie, Nana Kwasi Awuah and Kofi Bentil.
Although the protest was already fixed for Saturday, May 16, 2015, stakeholders are still waiting for the conclusion of another meeting regarding the venue for the protest and other details.
