According to reports by La Verdad, the actions of the woman, who was masturbating in the cinema hall, upset fellow movie-goers as they watched the Sam Taylor-Johnson’s film adaptation of E. L James’s bestseller in the city of Sinaloa in north-western Mexico recently.
The aroused woman was sitting in the 12th row of the cinema and her actions were reported to management, who called in police. The woman was arrested and handcuffed before being led out of the venue.
The heavily promoted Fifty Shades of Grey movie has taken $411m globally since its premiere, with more than $8m spent in Australia, where the film in its first week was the most watched. In the US, the drama earned $23.2m in its second weekend at the top of the box office, according to studio estimates recently.
