The Cofounder and Chief Operations Officer of Piggyvest, Odun Eweniyi while speaking on the democratization of payments at the Nigerian Entertainment Conference made a case on how Piggyvest can help the Nigerian entertainment industry.
She said that part of the mission of Piggyvest is making it easy for businesses to accept payments seamlessly and move at the speed of technology.
With that in mind, it then becomes possible for the company to help entertainers and content owners to create subscription model for users to make payments on their platforms.
“If I come to your website and love what you offer and want to make a purchase, and your payment process is broken, this creates a disconnection that makes me lose interest,” she said.
To bridge this gap, Eweniyi proposed a collaboration with key players in the entertainment industry to make it possible.

Paystack can do that perfectly. Piggyvest should concentrate on what it’s good and maybe implement other related services in the future.
I don’t think this particular idea would fly.
