Singers, Sound Sultan and Tiwa Savage were on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Harbour Point events centre, joined together in pseudo matrimony, anchored by comedian, Koffi.
Sultan who was launching his ‘Me, Myself & Eyes’ album and celebrating his 12th anniversary as an artiste, was dressed in a flowing green agbada with cap to match acted as the groom-to-be and was joined by the MAVIN songstres, in an orange iro and buba, played the bride-to-be, with actors from the Crown Troupe of Africa as family members and well wishers. The duo put up a little drama as they sang together the ‘Oko won lode’ track while the guest watched in admiration.
A long list of celebrities that witnessed the ‘marriage ceremony’ included Kate Henshaw, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Ben Bruce, Tony Okroji, Omawumi, Lami Philips and a host of others.
