Since 2004, when Nigerian LGBT activist, Bisi Alimi, openly declared his sexuality while on the programme New Dawn hosted by TV girl, Funmi Iyanda, the two have maintained a very close relationship and have been spotted together at different times and places.
They were recently spotted at the City Magazine Awards which took place in London. Alimi was nominated for the Out in the City magazine’s Diversity Champion of the Year Award and Iyanda went to cheer him on.
