The much talked about Oleku Concert with Juju music greats Commander Ebenezer Obey and King Sunny Ade went down on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the Harbour Point events centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Not only did it bring together two great musicians in the Nigerian entertainment industry for the first time in 35 years, the 800 VIP guests also enjoyed performances from great entertainers like Moses ‘Baba Sala’ Olaiya and Fatai Rolling Dollar
Those in attendance include: The Olugbo of Ugboland, Ondo State Oba Obateru Akinrutan, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Bola Tinubu, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Ekiti State’s Deputy Governor Olufunmilola Adunni Olayinka, Lagos State’s Deputy Governor Adejoke Adefulire, Alhaji Arisekola Alao, Alhaji Mufutau Olanihun, Akogun Lekan Alabi, Fola Adeola, Gbenga Daniel, Alex Onabanjo.
Others were Dewunmi Ogunsanya (Chairman DSTV), Bolu Akin-Olugbade, Yemi Lawal, Dapo Davies Nnadi, Deola Kazeem, Aremo Segun Oniru, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, Demola Seriki, Shade Kazeem, Deola Kamson, Mo Abudu, Yinka Osobu, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, Dele Momodu, Funmilola Jolaoso, Bolanle Ayeni, Foluso Domingo, Bolade Jegede,Teju Daranijo, Sakiru Oyefeso, Remi Lagos, Mako Alabi, Bola Alabi, Biola Alabi, Kunle Afolayan, Steve Ayorinde, Demola Odutola, Demola Seriki, Bisi Olatilo, Kunle Coker and Shola Coker, Aisha Oyebode, Senator Florence Ita Giwa, Dele Dosunmu, Aare Kamorudeen, Ajao Danjuma and a host of others.
The concert was hosted by Moses Olaiya popularly known as Baba Sala and Fatai Rolling Dollar.
