Since its inception in 2006, The Headies has recognised outstanding talents in the Nigerian music industry, honouring music artistes of various genres who have produced innovative sounds.
Boldly showcasing African talent, The Headies has had a successful run for over a decade in Africa and is now going global for its 15th edition set to hold at Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta on September 4, 2022.
Organisers say the 15th edition of the music award show will broadcast in 89 countries around the world, including 44 countries across the continent of Africa and on several digital platforms around the world.
Ahead of its global event in September, Ayo Animashaun, founder and executive producer of The Headies Award had a private media and VIP brunch in Atlanta which was attended by A-listers in the entertainment industry in the US and Nigeria.
