The D-Day is finally here!
It’s been slightly over a year after African pop singer 2face Idibia proposed to long-time girlfriend and baby mama Annie Macaulay and less than a year since they secretly got married. No more surprises though – the couple who announced they will be throwing a big wedding this March are living up to their word.
Little Eket Community in Akwa-Ibom received a host of celebrities as the love birds 2face and Annie had their star-studded traditional wedding. Celeb guests included best buddy Sound Sultan, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, HipHopWorld Magazine boss Ayo Animashaun, Now Muzik chief Efe Omorogbe, Iyanya and more.
Most guests were staying at the Villa Marina hotel. The pre-wedding bash, held on Friday, March 8, 2013, and we’re told that was sponsored by the governor of Akwa Ibom state Godswill Akpabio.
The traditional ceremony, which kicked off about three hours late, also had a Hennessy bar set up at the venue for guests of the couple and their family.

i just don’t understand this kind of Governor sponsoring a traditional marriage of a rich man like 2face instead of investing that kind of money to generating state revenue when there lots of graduate from Akwa Ibom looking for job
