Last night we told you Mavin star Dr Sid and his wife Simi Osomo welcomed their first child.

Now the proud father has just confirmed the arrival of his new bundle of joy, a baby girl who was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California.

Mother and child are in good shape.
