Eddie Redmayne has been named ‘Best Actor’ at the 87th Academy Awards, for his role in The Theory of Everything, which he acted as Stephen Hawking, a Cambridge University student and future physicist falls in love with fellow collegian Jane Wilde (Felicity Jones).
He secured the award ahead of Steve Carell ‘Foxcatcher’, Bradley Cooper ‘American Sniper’, Benedict Cumberbatch ‘The Imitation Game’, Michael Keaton ‘Birdman’.
33-year old actor was acquired this award, after wining Screen Actors’ Guild’s Best Actor last month.
