Jennifer Aniston has joked that it was ‘almost just as good’ to be snubbed for an Oscar than nominated.
The ‘Cake’ star – who was one actress on the list of the most shocking snubs from this year’s Academy Award nominations – has revealed that she was ‘flattered’ by the many messages from disgruntled friends and fans who insisted that she should have received a nod.
She told The Huffington Post newspaper: ‘I was amazed at how many messages of ‘Shocked!’ ‘F**k ’em!’ and ‘Robbed!’ I got.
‘I found it quite endearing and flattering that I had so many people rooting for me. It was almost just as good to be number one snubbed than to be nominated. Now I don’t have any pressure.’
