The photos speak for themselves. Some protesters at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom park, Ojota, paraded this white ‘coffin’ with the inscription ‘R.I.P. JONAT-HARM’. And they had our beloved President’s photo on it…

We should be fighting for something greater than fuel subsidy. This is high time we went back to square one and reintroduce Nigeria to a new direction. I think we need to call for a NEW CONSTITUTION. A constitution that clearly state the aim, objectives, and powers of each arm of government. A new constitution that would: decentralize the executive arm of federal government, state the income and benefit of all elected officials so noone goes in thinking he/she would come out rich, support regional leaderships where each geopolitical zone determine what’s good for her citizens. We clearly know by now that one size doesn’t fit all. The fight we are in for is greater than fuel subsidy. Let sieze this moment and reorganize our country. I beg Mr. falan and other activist to redisgn the platform of what we are fighting for. PS: we need a new land acquisition method. people are stealing and selling lands that does not belong to them.
I appreciate wot the Labour leaders and Naija citizens(esp those who actually went on the streets to protest)are fighting for but to go as far as carrying a coffin and wishing Jonathan “death” is absolutely unacceptable.I pray that God brings sanity back to this country in all ramifications.
