Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins may not have earned a call to the Super Eagles team for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil but the player seems to be making a positive impact for his club side Seattle Sounders

His goal for his club was an epic relief to seal a 4 – 1 away victory against Portland Timbers in US on Saturday, August 26, 2014.

Obafemi Martins has played for Reggiana, Internationale, Newcastle United, VfL Wolfsburg, Rubin Kazan, Birmingham City, Lavente before signing for Seattle Sounders FC in 2013
